Rating: - "Clearly" a winner!
I wanted to enjoy this first CD by Jennifer Hudson and was not disappointed. I especially appreciate the clarity with which Ms. Hudson sings the lyrics and the feeling she gives them. I predict several hit singles from the CD and all of them have her singing solo. Here's my order for the hits (I didn't include Spotlight, her first single release): We Gon'Fight, Giving Myself, Invisible.

This album is great. I haven't always been a fan of hers but when the ablum came out i decided to get it and i am glad i did. I had to lisgen to it a couple of times and now i can't put it down. Good Job Jennifer!

Rating: - A BIG DISAPOINTMENT
AFTER THE LONG WAIT FOR THIS CD, IT IS A HUGE LET DOWN. JENNIFER IS A BETTER SINGER THEN THESE SONGS. ONLY ONES WORTHWHILE ARE SPOTLIGHT, AND I AM TELLING YOU AND THE GOSPEL SONG. OTHER THEN THAT IT'S WORTHLESS AND A WASTE OF HER VOICE.

Rating: - A Must Have!
I was so excited when Jen's CD came out in September. I purchased 5 copies at first, and a few more after that (as Christmas presents). While I do have my favorites on the CD, I think that overall, this is a great first release. I was hoping for more mid-tempo songs like Spotlight or What's Wrong, but thought that Pocketbook was definitely a surprise (a welcomed one).
