It is very sturdy and is made of great quality. The microphone is loud enough to hear over the music. However the IPod does sound a little muffled, but not too bad.

My daughter likes this item. The only thing the sound is not the greatest coming out of the speaker, but if your child likes to sing and perform with a microphone they will love this item.

Like karaoke, but better, as long as you know the words. MP3 plugs in, you have the option of blocking out the words from the song to sing by yourself, or you can sing along with the artist. My 8 year old daughter got this for Christmas, and it is by far the favorite gift.

The sound is not what I expected, but I connected it to my Home Theater device and now, everything is ok.
My two children (9-10yrs) now want to sing all the time, everyone in the family wants too.

Singing Machine ISM-370 Multi-Function Karaoke System with iPod Docking

Coolest Christmas gift ever! EVERYONE had a let-loose, share-the-good times day. The grandparents LOVED listening and watching their children and grandchildren perform. Took it with us on the road later in the day to our friends house and people were waiting to get on the microphone! I definitely suggest ordering a second mike! Thanks for the memories Memorex!!
