A great value. Easy to set up and get going. You will likely want to switch from wireless to hard wired to get more frequent samples after you get into it a little.

La Crosse has a terrible attitude toward it's customers, so I recommend looking for another company. My weather station worked well enough initially, though the set up is not great for outdoor mounting. Then, the wires connecting the wind vane to the transmitter were chewed by a pack rat. No problem, I thought, I'll just call and pay for a new wire from La Crosse. Unfortunately, La Crosse does not help with problems and says you are on your own if it is not a warranty issue.
