Rating: - It's a great idea.... but...
I am a professional dog groomer, and we hear SO many complaints about this tool, and have gained so many new nail grinding clients since it's introduction. It doesn't have good battery life, and isn't tough enough for a large dog's nails.

The Dremel MiniMite is a MUCH better investment, because it actually has enough power for larger dog's toenails. It is light weight, not too noisy, easy to control. I've only had two dogs in the past month (out of a couple hundred) that objected ... Read More

Rating: - Still waiting.....
I haven't been able to even use this product. Because of the high-pitched noise my dog is terrified by it and you have to get your pet accustom to the trimmer and the noise. Depending on your pet that could take weeks, months. Then they have the same product at Walgreens for the same price if not cheaper so save yourself shipping cost and get it around the corner at Walgreens.

I purchased this item at a local retailer, anxiously took it home and opened the box. To my dismay, the instructions were, `watch the video on our website before using this on your pet." I have dial up internet at home. Anyway, they instruct you to HOLD your pet until s/he becomes submissive (which is terrifying to most dogs) and acclimate them to the noise until the anxiety passes. Rating: - does a good job
I think this is a good product. I used it on my 90 pound lab and my 60 pound border collie and it did a great job on their nails. I hated using a nail clipper because my dogs were afraid of it. I let my dogs sniff the product while it was running and while it was off for 2 days before I used it on them so they could get used to it. When I went to actually use it on them they both just laid still for me and let me trim their nails. Definately would recommend this one!

I bought this product for my mom's dog. She has yet to use it because the dog doesn't like anyone to mess with her feet. I think the product has good merit though. I will probably be the one to use it on her, wish me luck! Delivery was fast! My mom had ordered from the commerical and never received it. Glad I ordered it from Amazon! Thanks!
